Automation Upgrades & Retrofitting 

Below are some pictures of an upgrade to an older mash-tun that needed a better rake and grain out plow system. First we rebuilt the lauter screen "false bottom" to stop grain from getting through. Then we removed the old "propeller" style rake, and replaced it with rakes more suitable for mixing mash. The addition of the grain out plow will is also a big upgrade and will save our customer at Fracture Brewing a lot of time and hassle of graining out.
